Why We Are Different

One-time trainings don't change how a workplace feels.

You've probably sat through the workshop. Everyone left inspired, and by the next Monday nothing had changed.

Stress, conflict, and burnout aren't knowledge problems. They are habits of the nervous system, and habits change through steady, repeated practice.

The cost of leaving them alone is real:

  • Burnout costs employers roughly $4,000 to $20,700 per employee each year, and most of that comes from people who are at work but depleted.

  • Managers spend about 4.4 hours every week on interpersonal conflict, nearly a month of leadership time each year.

  • Managers account for about 70% of the variance in team engagement, so the people leading your teams set the tone for everyone.

Bounce Back at Work replaces the one-time event with a monthly rhythm your team can actually absorb.

Three tracks that set a steady rhythm

All trainings conducted online at your desk

Three topics. Three sessions each. Time to practice, reflect, and make it stick.

Discussions are kept confidential and not recorded. Complaints and suggestions are anonymous to inspire confidence and open sharing.

For leadership, the last 3 months are to provide a consultation on the improvements and changes your team’s feedback points to.

Track 1: A Calm, Supportive Workplace

3 monthly training sessions. For reducing burnout and keeping good people. Teams and leaders learn how stress shows up in the body at work, and the daily practices that make a workplace feel safe, predictable, and humane. People leave each session with one practice they can use the same day.

Conflict, Resolved Early

3 monthly training sessions. For the tension that eats hours and trust. Led by a practicing attorney, this track teaches how to de-escalate, work through disagreements, hold fair conversations, and recognize when a situation needs a formal, documented process instead of a quiet fix.

Work/Life Tools That Work

3 monthly Training Sessions. For people who take the job home with them. Simple, science-backed self-help and self-care tools, including breathing, movement, kind self-talk, and calm time, that take about two minutes and help people reset between work and the rest of their lives.

How a month works

Every month follows the same simple rhythm, so your team always knows what to expect.

Every Monday

The Monday Reset: a 3-minute email with a science-based tip and tool to use, practice, and share.

Once a month

A live 60-minute team training, recorded for anyone who can't attend. Discussions are not recorded.

Available Anytime

A growing library of past recordings and emails are provided.

What your leaders receive

Your leaders receive an anonymous report and a consultation that turn the training into a plan.

  • An anonymous report. Short anonymous surveys at the start and end of each track, combined with themes from the sessions, show what is stressing your people, what is helping, what is getting in the way, and how things changed over time. Reports never include names, identifying quotes, or results for groups too small to protect anyone's identity.

  • A leader consultation. On a Single Track, you receive the report and a 60-minute consultation at the end of the track. On the Full Program, the final three months are devoted to consultation: after nine months of training, your leaders work with us to turn the cumulative report into a plan, while your staff keep receiving the weekly Monday Reset emails.

FAQs

Who you'll be working with

Jennifer is a California attorney, resilience educator, and author with more than 20 years of experience in youth development, community-based resilience education, and conflict resolution. Certified in trauma studies and Mental Health First Aid, Jennifer founded Generation Bounce Back and its nonprofit partner, Bounce Back Generation, and has trained local, state, and regional agencies, corporations, and nonprofits across California and the U.S. She wrote How to Bounce Back: Emotional Evolution and the Science of Feeling Good and How to Get Calm Before You Lose Your Cool. The training you'll receive is built for people who carry real responsibility for others, because that is who the work has always been for.

In addition, our team includes an experienced resilience educator and social worker, and corporate and individual coaches.

Frequently asked questions:

Is this therapy or an employee assistance program? No. Bounce Back at Work is educational training and self-help support. It does not replace counseling or medical care, and every Monday Reset includes resources for people who need more support.

Who attends the live sessions? All employees are welcome, and managers can join as participants. At kickoff, we'll talk through how to organize groups, including whether managers and staff attend together.

Will my manager hear what I say in the sessions? No. Comments are never attributed to individuals or reported to managers. Your organization receives attendance numbers and an anonymous, combined report only.

What will our leaders receive? An anonymous report and a consultation with options, ideas, and a plan. On a Single Track, that is a report and a 60-minute consultation at the end of the track. On the Full Program and 3 leadership consultations. The Partnership track provides an opportunity to work together to target specific areas. The reporting combines short anonymous surveys with themes from the sessions, with no names or identifying quotes.

What if someone misses a session? The teaching portion of each session is recorded and added to your team's library. Open discussion is never recorded.

Can we start with just one track? Yes. Choose the Single Track option and begin with the focus that fits your team best. You can move into the Full Program afterward.

Do you conduct workplace investigations? Investigations are a separate engagement, not part of the monthly program. Ask on your discovery call, and we'll discuss the right fit.

How long is the commitment? Three months for a single track and twelve months for the Full Program (nine months of training plus a three-month leader consultation), then month to month.

Do you work with nonprofits, schools, and agencies? Yes, and nonprofits and schools receive a discount.

Let's talk about your team

You're not looking for another one-time event. You're looking for a team that feels calmer, communicates better, and stays. Book a short discovery call, and we'll talk about where your people are and where to start.
