Science Shows Us How.
We're living through a new stage of emotional evolution: learning to work with our nervous systems instead of just surviving them. Healing from trauma is possible, and it starts by asking "what happened to you?" instead of "what's wrong with you?" The world needs heroes like you. But, who's there for You?
We are here to help Highly Responsible People gain the calm strength they need to power through with joy, not burn out.
Our Nervous System Regulation course is available now.
Master Any Space: A nervous system regulation course for home, classroom, workplace,

About Us

Generation Bounce Back was established in 2024, born out of demand from local nonprofits, community-based organizations, and government agencies looking to bring real resilience training to their staff. That in-person, on-the-ground work is now growing into this website and course platform, built to offer the same training at greater depth through online courses, books, and workbooks,
so anyone ready to do this work can start when they're ready.
Generation Bounce Back is the sister organization to Bounce Back Generation, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which works directly with youth and families in communities facing serious stress, adversity, and trauma. Proceeds from Generation Bounce Back help support that work.

Hello Friends,
For more than two decades, I've trained others in the science of trauma, recovery, and resilience, developing tools and systems built specifically for people carrying real, chronic responsibility for others.
I founded Generation Bounce Back in 2024 to bring that same science, and the same practical tools, to Highly Responsible People everywhere: the managers, the teachers, the healthcare workers, the parents, the ones who hold everything together for everyone else and rarely get asked how they're doing.
My Credentials

Founder of Bounce Back Generation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving youth, and Generation Bounce Back, its sister organization serving adults
Training delivered to local, state, and regional agencies, corporations, nonprofits, and community-based organizations across California.
I recently wrote How to Bounce Back: Emotional Evolution and the Science of Feeling Good and How to Get Calm Before You Lose Your Cool, and along with my team, Generation Bounce Back is dedicated to one mission: helping you turn your struggles into your strengths.

Bounce Back Generation (BBG) was founded to help children under five build the protective factors known to guard against the long-term effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), a well-documented body of research linking early trauma to physical and mental health struggles that can last well into adulthood. We later expanded our reach to teens and young adults.
We built programs that recruit trusted members of a child's own community to provide exactly what the research shows matters most: safety, caring and bonded relationships, positive coping skills, real confidence, and a genuine sense of belonging, while helping each child begin to see their own life as a story still being written, one with real heroic potential. These are the same principles that would later become Generation Bounce Back's Six Building Blocks of Resilience: what started as a promise to young children became a framework for everyone.
Our YouTube channel provides free resources made by our team of community members.

We call it the spark. It's the energy in us that dims sometimes, but never quite goes out. It's what gets us up after a hard fall, and what gets us going again (and again), after a harder one.
Both BBG and Gen BB exist to protect that spark and remember that it's been there all along.
